Sunday 27th September 2020 is the  twenty-sixth Sunday since last we met in church on a Sunday morning. Today, those who are able will be back and the service will be recorded. A link will be added here as soon as is possible and we hope you will still find time to worship with us.

The link to the service
is now LIVE.

Psalm 90:1-2

Lord, you have been our refuge from one generation to another.

Before the mountains were brought forth,

or the earth and the world were formed

from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.

So, come to the Father, as one whose life is touched by faith.

Draw close to Jesus, as one whose heart is moved by love.

Worship him now as one whose soul is stirred by the Holy Spirit.

With our whole hearts we give thanks to you our God,

Creator, Provider, Guide and safe harbour.

Grant us boldness to approach you,

Confidence to serve you

And courage to witness to you in the world.

For we ask this in your name

Clicking on the text  above will take you to the correct passage in the NIV (UK) provided by Bible Gateway. To the left at the top of the page you will see the icons copied to the right here.

Click on the one circled at the far right and you will hear David Suchet reading - but it does mean you hear the whole chapter .

This is a version of the Lord's Prayer set to the tune of 'Sounds of Silence': a different version which helps us to think about the meaning.

May God watch between you and me

while we are parted, one from another.

May Christ stay beside you and me,

while we are parted, one from another.

And in the shadow of the Spirit's wing

Until we meet again, may you be blessed by peace. Amen.
